Ponggal celebration a symbol of unity, harmony and progress, say Cabinet ministers

KUALA LUMPUR: Members of the Cabinet, through various social media posts, took the opportunity to wish all Hindus and Tamils in the country a Happy Ponggal festival.

Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, in a Facebook post, hoped that the Ponggal Festival celebration, which falls on Tuesday (Jan 14), would be an injection of enthusiasm to take further steps towards progress, harmony and well-being among Malaysians.
