Court of Appeal to hear Najib's house arrest appeal tomorrow


KUALA LUMPUR: The Court of Appeal will hear Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak's appeal against the dismissal of his bid to serve the remainder of his six-year prison sentence under house arrest, based on his claim of the existence of a royal addendum to that effect.

The hearing, which was initially scheduled for Dec 5, last year, will commence at 9am on Monday (Jan 6) before a three-member bench comprising Justices Datuk Azizah Nawawi, Datuk Azhahari Kamal Ramli, and Datuk Seri Mohd Firuz Jaffril.
