Cops nab main suspect linked to discovery of murdered woman's body found in Serdang hotel


SERDANG: The main suspect linked to the discovery of a murdered woman found dead in a hotel here has been arrested.

In a statement Saturday (Dec 4), Serdang OCPD Asst Comm AA Anbalagan said that the 32-year-old Bangladeshi man was arrested on Jan 3 in Putrajaya.

"Investigations showed that the suspect knew the victim. He also confessed to the murder, stating that jealousy was the main motive behind it," he said.

The suspect has been remanded until Jan 10.

On Dec 31, a woman was found dead in a hotel room in Taman Mawar Puchong.
