Baby Shima receives death threat on social media


PETALING JAYA: Singer Baby Shima has recently received a death threat from an unknown individual via social media.

Baby Shima - whose real name is Nor Ashima Ramli – revealed this through her Instagram account, along with a screenshot of the threatening comment, believed to be from an individual in Sarawak.

"Once you enter Sarawak again, your enemy has now targeted you! Do not return to the Peninsula as a corpse, understand! Take care, Baby Shima," the comment read.

Not staying silent, the singer, who recently released the single "Bujang Sarawak," has filed a police report.

"Shima just received a death threat from someone in Sarawak. I request the cooperation of @polis_sarawak and the Royal Malaysia Police."

"Shima is now on her way to the police station," she said.

The Masai, Johor-born singer also shared several photos believed to belong to the individual who threatened her.
