Papagomo out on bail


KUALA LUMPUR: Blogger Wan Muhammad Azri Wan Deris, better known as Papagomo, who was detained to assist in an investigation into a fraud case involving the misuse of a company’s name for fundraising, has been released on police bail.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain confirmed that Wan Muhammad Azri was freed after giving his statement in relation to the probe under Section 420 of the Penal Code for cheating.

“To date, 16 people have been questioned,” Razarudin said in a statement yesterday, Bernama reported.
