Kampung Baru issue: Additional compensation disbursed, says Dr Zaliha


KUALA LUMPUR: Additional compensation payments totalling RM200,000 for the acquisition of land from 11 flat unit owners in Kampung Sungai Baru, Kampung Baru here, have been disbursed to the applicants, says Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa.

She explained that these individuals were among 75 applicants who submitted Form N (a form filed to apply for an objection to be referred to court) under Section 38 of the Land Acquisition Act 1960 to challenge the compensation amount offered by the Kuala Lumpur Federal Territory Department of Lands and Mines (JKPTG WPKL).
