Audits on 1,856 public entities next year to focus on financials, governance


PUTRAJAYA: The National Audit Department will focus on three key elements- financial statements, company objectives and corporate governance - when conducting audits of 1,856 entities, including government-linked companies (GLCs), starting next year.

Auditor-General Datuk Seri Wan Suraya Wan Mohd Radzi said all government companies, including Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), should be prepared with relevant documentation and data for submission and auditing.
