MetMalaysia: Thunderstorms, heavy rain expected in northern peninsula, Sarawak on Oct 29


PETALING JAYA: Thunderstorms, heavy rain and strong winds are expected over northern parts of Peninsular Malaysia and parts of Sarawak, says the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).

In a statement on Tuesday (Oct 29), it said adverse weather is expected until noon in Perlis; Kedah; Penang; Perak (Kerian, Larut, Matang, Selama, Hulu Perak, Kuala Kangsar, Manjung, Bagan Datuk and Hilir Perak); Kelantan (Tumpat, Pasir Mas, Jeli and Tanah Merah); Negri Sembilan (Port Dickson); Melaka; Sarawak: Sibu, Mukah (Daro, Matu, Dalat and Mukah); Kapit (Song, Kapit and Bukit Mabong), Bintulu (Tatau) and Miri (Subis and Miri).
