KUALA LUMPUR: The 2024 Deepavali Musical and Arts Fiesta is capable of becoming a platform for the Indian community in the country to showcase the successes and richness of Indian culture, traditions and arts, says Gobind Singh Deo.

The Digital Minister added that the soulful melodies and enthralling dances of each performance were symbols of pride for those who were present at the fiesta.

"This programme was organised successfully since 2008 and we really can see the programme becoming bigger each year,” he said during his speech at the programme in Little India Brickfields here on Monday (Oct 28) night.

The fiesta is open from Monday to Wednesday (Oct 30) and is organised by Persatuan Aduan Rakyat Malaysia.

Meanwhile, in his speech, Gobind advised the Indian business community to boost their businesses through the use of digital platforms.

"If previously, the market is just around us, now that we use digital platforms, we can have access to a wider global marker and boost our business,” he added.- Bernama
