PETALING JAYA: La Nina is set to return later this year.

According to experts tracking the weather phenomenon, La Nina has a 70% chance of developing between this month and October.

During La Nina, there is a periodic cooling of ocean surface temperatures in the central and east-central equatorial Pacific.
