Talian Kasih to help in search of missing girl in Johor


JOHOR BARU: Those with information on the whereabouts of the missing six-year-old Albertine Leo Jia Hui can contact the Talian Kasih helpline.

Johor women's family and community development committee chairman Khairin-Nisa Ismail said that she had also directed all government agencies under her portfolio to make public announcements on the matter.

“The public can contact the Talian Kasih helpline at 15999 or 019-2615999 (via WhatsApp) or contact the nearest District Social Welfare Office.

“They can also contact the nearest police station, the Iskandar Puteri IPD hotline at 019-2792095, or the Operations Room hotline at 07-2212999,” she said in a statement on her Facebook page on Monday (July 22).

Khairin-Nisa added that the Johor State Government is taking the issue of missing children very seriously.

“This case deeply saddens me.

"I encourage parents, guardians, the public, and the community to monitor and prioritise the safety of children at all times," she added.

The girl was reported missing at around 8.30pm on Saturday (July 20) during the Bon Odori Japanese festival at Eco Galleria here.

The girl, who is about 120cm tall and has long hair, was last seen wearing a white Mickey Mouse T-shirt.
