Retiree loses RM400K to crypto investment scam


BATU PAHAT: A 64-year-old man here lost over RM400,000 in a cryptocurrency investment scheme that turned out to be nonexistent.

Batu Pahat acting OCPD Supt Shahrulanuar Mushaddat Abdullah Sani said the private sector retiree initially engaged with an unknown individual on Facebook in March.
