Zayn Rayyan case: Edisi Siasat's post is libellous, says lawyer

PETALING JAYA: Lawyer Fahmi Abd Moin, who represents Zayn Rayyan's parents, Zaim Ikhwan Zahari, 29, and Ismanira Abdul Manaf, 29, said the information being disseminated is slanderous.

"Yes, the family is considering filing a police report regarding the matter.

"I suggested to them to file the report today," he said when contacted by Sinar Harian on Friday (June 14).

Earlier, Bukit Aman CID director Comm Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain had said they would investigate local watchdog Edisi Siasat's leak of an alleged investigation officer's report on Telegram of the murder case.
