Adventurers’ gear sees sales spike


GEORGE TOWN: Sellers of leisure and recreational goods here were busy as bees shortly after money was disbursed from the Employees Provident Fund’s Account 3.

Several interviewed confirmed that their sales rose by between 40% and 100% in the second half of last month, which coincided with the time when the flexible Account 3 was executed.
