Two teens nabbed for allegedly throwing vases at Serdang police station's gate

KUALA LUMPUR: Two male teenagers were detained for allegedly throwing vases at the gate of the Serdang police station.

Serdang OCPD Asst Comm AA Anbalagan said the suspects, both aged 17, were detained at Taman Serdang Jaya in Seri Kembangan at about 4pm on Tuesday (June 4).

"One of the suspects is a student, while the other is unemployed. They led us to a location where we seized rock fragments and flower vases believed to have been used in three incidents, including the one at the Serdang police station's gate," he said in a statement on Wednesday (June 5).

Clothing worn by the suspects on the day of the incidents has also been confiscated, he added.

"They will be remanded today.

"We are investigating under Section 427 of the Penal Code," he said.

It had been previously reported that two teenagers threw flower vases at the Serdang police station's gate after they were reprimanded by police personnel for not wearing helmets while riding a motorcycle at about 6.30am on Sunday (June 2).
