Dr Wee attends Harvard networking dinner in Seoul

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong said he had a fruitful and inspiring experience at the Harvard Global Networking Dinner and Fireside Chat.

"I am honoured to be invited to the event held at the Korea Press Club in Seoul with Pita Limjaroenrat on Thursday (May 23).

"The Harvard Alum and Thailand Prime Ministerial candidate 2023 shared his political struggles as the leader of the Move Forward Party and the future challenges he will face," said Dr Wee in a Facebook post on Friday (May 24).

The MCA president, who is in Seoul for the Asian Leadership Conference (ALC24), said about 70 members, including faculty, alumni and fellows from various Harvard schools such as the College, HKS, HMS, HBS, HDS, HGSE and FWS also attended the event.

"I had the opportunity to meet and chat with former prime minister of San Marino, Adele Tonnini.

"It was indeed a fruitful and inspiring experience to pick the brains of so many former and emerging leaders from throughout the world at the conference," added Dr Wee.
