Bella case: Siti Bainun withdraws appeal on stay of execution against jail sentence


PUTRAJAYA: Rumah Bonda founder Siti Bainun Ahd Razali has withdrawn her appeal against the High Court's decision that had dismissed her application to stay the execution of her 12-year prison sentence for neglect and abuse a of teenage girl with Down Syndrome known as Bella three years ago.

Lawyer Fatin Syaza Irdina Muhamad Eddin Syazri, representing Siti Bainun, 32, informed the three-judge panel of the Court of Appeal here on Monday (May 20) that her client would be filing a new application for a stay of execution at the High Court.
