No to violence: Police release photofit of Faisal Halim acid attack suspect


Photofit by the police of the suspect who attacked national footballer Faisal Halim with acid.

PETALING JAYA: Bukit Aman has released a photofit of the suspect who attacked national footballer Faisal Halim with acid.

Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, in a statement on Sunday (May 19), said that the suspect is believed to be around 30 years old, of medium build, and is 165 cm tall.

"Those who recognise the man or have information on the individual pictured in the photofit are urged to contact Special Investigation Unit investigating officer Insp Jagachandran Murugesen at 012 684 8166 or their nearest police station," he said.

National winger Faisal, who is also known as Mickey, was attacked with acid at a shopping mall in Damansara on May 5.
