Motorcyclist injured by falling branch, traffic disrupted on Seremban-Tampin road

SEREMBAN: A 33-year-old motorcyclist sustained light injuries when a tree branch fell on him along Jalan Seremban-Tampin early Thursday (May 16).

A Fire and Rescue Department spokesman said a call came in at 6am and a team immediately rushed to the scene.

"When our men from the Senawang and Seremban stations arrived, they saw that a huge branch had fallen across a dual carriageway along the stretch, obstructing traffic on both lanes.

"The motorcyclist, who sustained facial injuries, was given treatment by emergency medical rescue services personnel," the spokesman said in a statement.

He said the firemen removed the branch, and the stretch was reopened to traffic at around 7am.
