Melaka floating market expected to be operational in June

MELAKA: The floating market at Phase Two of the Melaka River is expected to commence operations in June, once all 30 sampans provided have vendors.

Acting chief executive officer of the Melaka River and Coastal Development Corporation (PPSPM), Department of Management and Financial Services director, Khairunnisa Ibno Masooda, stated that currently, only 10 food, beverage, and souvenir vendors have applied for the designated sampans.
