Court upholds 18-year jail term for human trafficker


A TAIWANESE court upheld an 18-year jail sentence imposed on a part-time actor convicted of trafficking in 88 people and selling them to Cambodian scam syndicates, Sin Chew Daily reported.

Li Zhenhao’s appeal for a lighter sentence for the crime was rejected by the court on April 30.
