KOTA KINABALU: Sabah and Labuan journalists, photographers and producers in print, broadcast and online media can start submitting their entries to Kinabalu Press Awards (KPA) 2024 immediately, with the last date of submission on May 10.
Sabah Journalists Association (SJA) president Datuk Muguntan Vanar announced the opening of the entry submissions on Friday (April 26) and added that only news items that were produced between Jan 1 to Dec 31, 2023 would be eligible.
“SJA is looking forward to once again collaborating with the state government under Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor through its generous support of the auspicious event which is aimed at recognising media excellence.
"The KPA organising committee will also pay a courtesy call to the Chief Minister soon to invite him as the Guest-of-Honour at the awards, of which the date and venue will be announced later.
“We are also looking forward to our other co-sponsors to continue their support for this annual event," he said in a statement here.
All entries are to be submitted online via https://mpi.my/award/kpa-2024 and further queries can be forwarded to the SJA organising committee at 019-8508059 (Aisyah) or 013-8308890 (Durie).
