Flash floods hit Klang Valley, exacerbating traffic woes


KLANG VALLEY: Rush hour commuters here faced unexpected delays as flash floods hit the region following heavy rain that started around 6pm on Thursday (April 18), causing traffic jams across major roadways.

Vehicles were bumper-to-bumper in affected areas, including Kepong and KL City.

According to Astro Traffic, an accident near Jalan Gasing has also been reported in addition to flash floods in the area, causing delays of up to half an hour.

Motorists travelling along these routes should expect travel delays.
