Three teens rescued after being lost in jungle

MARANG: Three teenagers reported lost for more than 15 hours in the jungle at Kampung Pulau Kerengga here while hunting jungle fowl were found safe on Sunday (March 31).

Marang Fire and Rescue Station Operations Commander Zuraidi Yusuf said the teenagers, aged 15 and 16, were found by villagers at 8.13am about 4km from the road.

"When found, all the victims were weak and had minor injuries on their bodies. They have been taken to the Gong Balai Health Clinic for examination and treatment before being handed over to their respective family members," he said when contacted.- Bernama
