KK man fined RM15,000 for illegal possession of diesel


KOTA KINABALU: A local man was slapped with a RM15,000 fine, in default two months jail, after being found guilty of unlawful possession of controlled items at the Sessions Court here on Wednesday (March 27).

According to a statement by the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry on Thursday (March 28), Sessions Court judge Elsie Primus handed the sentence to Mohd Mazlan Emarula who was charged under Section 21 of the Control of Supplies Act 1961 which was punishable under Section 22(1) of the same Act.
