PETALING JAYA: PAS president and Marang MP Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang (pic) was not missing from Parliament but on medical leave, says his political secretary Mohd Syahir Che Sulaiman.

Mohd Syahir, also the Bachok MP, said a letter and a medical leave certificate were submitted to Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul on Sunday, the day before the Parliament session commenced yesterday.

“Due to his health condition, Abdul Hadi is still undergoing a recovery period as recommended by his doctors, which includes staying in the hospital for further treatments.”
