“The decision is on the Pardons Board,” he said briefly after having lunch at the Pertama Complex food court here on Friday (Feb 2).

When asked if the decision had been made, he said, “Yes, it has been determined. Wait for the announcement from the Pardons Board.”

Najib is currently serving a 12-year sentence after being found guilty of abuse of power, criminal breach of trust, and money laundering in relation to RM42mil in funds from SRC International, a former 1MDB subsidiary.
