MCA extends condolences to Wong Seng Chow's family


PETALING JAYA: MCA has extended its condolences to the family of party veteran Datuk Wong Seng Chow who passed away on Thursday (Jan 25).

"The former party vice-president's departure was a great loss to the party and people," said Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong on his Facebook on Saturday (Jan 27).

"Wong was serving in the party in different portfolios, including the Seremban MCA division chairman and secretary, deputy chairman and chairman of Negeri Sembilan MCA.

"Wong was appointed deputy Transport Minister in 1969 and his demise will be felt by the people in Negeri Sembilan and his contribution will always be remembered," added Dr Wee.
