Wan Junaidi keeps mum on speculation he will be next Sarawak governor


SHAH ALAM: Tan Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar has declined to comment on speculation that he is to be the next Sarawak governor.

His media officer, when contacted by Sinar Harian on Friday (Jan 19) said that the Dewan Negara President would not comment on the speculation for now.

"We do not have any comments because we have not received any instructions yet. If there is, we will issue an official statement," he said on Friday.

A news portal reported that Wan Junaidi had quit his post as Dewan Negara President and would be the next Sarawak governor.
