Hunt on for duo involved in RM1.24mil burglary case


IPOH: Police are tracking down two men believed to be involved in a RM1.24mil burglary case in Taman Mansion here on Dec 12.

Ipoh district police chief ACP Yahaya Hassan said in the incident, a 28-year-old business owner suffered losses, including a collection of luxury watches of various brands such as Rolex GMT Master II, IWC Annual Calendar Big Pilot Gold, jewellery, mobile phones and a laptop.

He said the case was being investigated under Section 457 of the Penal Code, and pictures of the two men were being circulated to aid in the identification of the suspects, Bernama reported.

He urged the public with any information about the suspects to contact the investigating officer ASP Norazlina Rais Ahmad at 013-628 2176 or the Ipoh district police headquarters control centre, operational 24 hours, at 05-254 2222 to assist in the investigation.
