Body of accountant found in Cheras, police suspect foul play


KUALA LUMPUR: The body of an accountant has been found on Jalan Kuari, Kampung Cheras Baru, here and police believe he was murdered.

Cheras district police chief ACP Zam Halim Jamaluddin said the nude body of the 28-year-old man was found face down by passers-by at about 6am on Monday (Dec 11).

"Preliminary investigations found injuries on the body. An autopsy will be carried out at the Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital's forensics department on Tuesday (Dec 12).

"There were no identification papers but the family identified him later," he said in a statement, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code.
