PETALING JAYA: A teacher recently promoted to headmistress has drawn praise from social media users over a social media video showing her with an array of gifts from her students.
The headmistress, identified in the video as Bibiana, was recently promoted and her son Adrian Edy created a TikTok video on his account @adrianedy7 with his mother surrounded by gifts ranging from candy to bouquets to framed drawings.
"Congratulations, Mummy, on your appointment as a headmistress as it has always been your dream since you were a teacher.
"Many students love you, many gave you gifts, enough to fill a car, and I hope Mummy will carry out your responsibility as headmistress well," added Edy.
Netizens were also full of praise for Bibiana.
"Surely mommy Edy is loved by students at the school. Congratulations to the teacher on the promotion to headmistress," said Bibisma63.
"Congratulations Edy on your mother's promotion. My sister in Kudat is also a headmistress," said syazila3124.
