Syrian man pleads not guilty to setting hotel room on fire


KUALA LUMPUR: A Syrian man has pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here to committing mischief by setting fire to a hotel room here.

Oday Bahbouh, 29, who is unemployed, was charged on Friday (Nov 10) with committing the offence which caused damage to property, namely two wooden cupboards, wardrobes, a mattress, the floor, doors, curtains and toilets, involving losses of RM10,000.
