72% of M'sians travelling this year, budgeting RM6,500 for trip


KUALA LUMPUR: A survey conducted by Europ Assistance (EA) with market research company Ipsos indicates that 80% of Malaysian respondents have reported feeling excited to travel this year with more than 72% of them planning to travel this year.

EA South East Asia chief executive officer Philippe Demangeat in a statement today said 69% of Malaysian respondents are planning to travel abroad in 2023, while 41 per cent intending to travel domestically as Malaysians favour Asean markets like Singapore, Thailand, and the Philippines after the pandemic.
