Budget 2024: RM40 electricity bill rebate for hardcore poor

PETALING JAYA: Hardcore poor families will receive a rebate of up to RM40 a month on their electricity bills.

Finance Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, while delivering Budget 2024 in Parliament on Friday (Oct 13), also said this would involve a total allocation of RM55mil.
