Enjoy gastronomic experiences that define Thailand’s culinary culture

KUALA LUMPUR: Lotuss Stores (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is giving Malaysian consumers a taste of true Thai cuisine at Lotus’s Mutiara until Oct 15.

A total of 50 food stalls at the retailer's first Thai Fest will offer Malaysians a wide selection of halal and non-halal dishes, snacks and beverages.

Exciting traditional and modern Thai entertainment have also been lined up throughout the Thai Fest that include Thailand’s own popular pop star Da Endorphine.

The award-winning female pop star will make her appearance in Malaysia at the Lotus’s Thai Fair on Oct 15 from 8pm to 9.30pm, giving Malaysians the experience of Thailand’s pop culture.

Other activities made available at the Thai Fest in Lotus’s Mutiara also include:

> Spend, Stamp and Win prizes for 100 lucky customers daily, with a minimum spend of RM40

> Daily traditional and modern cultural performances

> Daily mascot and clown appearance

With the increasing popular demand for authentic Thai made products, Lotus’s Malaysia is also introducing over 300 new authentic Thai lines into all its stores.

These Thai made products include cooking, baking, instant meals, canned food, beverages, personal care products and many more.

Until Oct 25, shoppers can enjoy these products with a 6% discount at all its outlets including its latest addition, Lotus’s Kluang and soon to open Lotus’s Muar in Johor.

Lotus’s Malaysia president Kenneth Chuah believes that Thai cuisines are popular in Malaysia and many have become accepting of Thai food, and it has become deeply rooted in the Malaysian food culture.

“As a Thai business specialising in food retail, Lotus’s have always wanted to bring the flavours of Thailand into its stores and into the homes of every Malaysians.”
