Anwar arrives at Istana Negara

KUALA LUMPUR: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim was seen entering Istana Negara on Friday (Sept 29), thus intensifying talks of an impending Cabinet reshuffle.

Anwar was spotted entering the palace gate with his entourage at about 10.45am.

The Prime Minister usually has an audience with the King on Wednesdays before the weekly Cabinet meeting and therefore his audience today is being closely watched.

There are two versions of the reason for the meet today.

One is that Anwar is presenting to the Agong for the Cabinet changes and will make the announcement today.

The other version, however, said the announcement will not be made today, pending further refinement.
