PETALING JAYA: It is hoped that the new leadership of MCA's Wanita and Youth wings will continue to protect the interests of the people, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
"I hope the incoming MCA Youth and Wanita MCA leaders will go on to instill a fighting spirit with a verve worthy of the trust and mandate given by the delegates to rebuild the party and continue the party’s mission in protecting the interests of the people," said Dr Wee.
The MCA president said this in a Facebook post congratulating newly-elected MCA Youth Chief YB Ling Tian Soon and his deputy Mike Chong Yew Chuan as well as the new Wanita MCA Chairman Wong You Fong.
"Congratulations also goes to the new committee members of MCA Youth and Wanita MCA," said Dr Wee in the post on Sunday (Sept 24).
