Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Amihizam Abdul Shukor said the suspects, aged between 19 and 37, were detained in an operation on Friday.

All the suspects, he said, had been remanded for further investigation.
“They were working as administrators and customer service officers,” he added.
ACP Amihizam advised the public to report any scam to the National Scam Response Centre via the 997 hotline.
“We urge those with info on illegal activities to contact the Brickfields police hotline at 03-229 79222, the KL hotline at 03-2146 0584/0585 or any police station,” he said.
