A KINDERGARTEN in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, entered the Malaysia Book of Records (MBOR) after its pupils and staff created a giant replica of the Jalur Gemilang using egg trays, Harian Metro reported.

The 23m x 8.5m Jalur Gemilang took about three weeks to complete.

Tadika Mega Genius principal R. Mohanambal said a total of 2,128 egg trays were used, which were donated by the families of the pupils, while the staff provided materials for colouring.

He added 86 students, aided by teachers and parents, helped to colour the egg trays.

He said the kindergarten in Nusantara Prima, Gelang Patah, has always celebrated National Day in its own unique way.

MBOR office manager Lee Pooi Leng presented the certificate to the school, which was witnessed by Kemelah state assemblyman N. Saraswati.

Mohamad Yusri is now in his fifth semester, while his son just registered as a student at the same polytechnic on Tuesday.

> A comment left by actress Nabila Huda on an interview aired by an entertainment portal featuring fellow actress Nad Zainal has sparked questions about their friendship, Utusan Malaysia reported.

Nabila left a sarcastic comment below the article.

“Sorry to ask... Who is this? An actor?” she wrote.

The two were previously close friends and on good terms.

Nabila also visited Nad when she was admitted to the intensive care unit in November last year due to an infection in her lungs.

However, the reason behind Nabila’s decision to disregard her friendship with Nad remains unknown.
