State polls: Voter turnout between 40% and 50% as of 1pm, says EC


The voter turnout for the six states is between 40% and 50% by 1pm, says the Election Commission.

Terengganu remains at the top of the list for the highest voter turnout among the six states at 50% followed closely by Kedah at 49% and Penang at 46%.

This is followed by Selangor at 44%, Negri Sembilan at 42% and Kelantan at 40% as of 1pm.

For the Kuala Terengganu by-election which is being held on the same day, the voter turnout was 47% as of 1pm.
