State polls: Voter turnout between 34% and 42% as of noon, says EC


PETALING JAYA: The voter turnout for the six states is between 34% and 42% as of noon, says the Election Commission.

Terengganu remains at the top of the list for the highest voter turnout among the six states at 42% followed closely by Kedah at 41% and Penang at 38%.

This is followed by Negri Sembilan at 35%, Selangor at 36% and Kelantan at 34% as of noon.

For the Kuala Terengganu by-election which is being held on the same day, voter turnout was 39% as of noon.
