State polls: Make the right call, Independent Satees urges Bagan Dalam voters

BUTTERWORTH: Having put up a "good fight" for the past two weeks, Independent candidate M. Satees is hoping for a last-minute rush of voters turning up in Bagan Dalam.

"We gave a good fight.

"The dynamics of politics in Penang will change after this.

"I hope the people will make the right decision and not lose hope.

"Quickly, cast your votes," the Bagan Dalam incumbent said to the media after voting at SJKC Chung Hwa 2 in Butterworth on Saturday (Aug 12).

Satees, formerly with DAP, was dropped as a candidate in the state polls.

He then resigned from the party and contested as an Independent against Pakatan Harapan's candidate K. Kumaran.

The seat is seeing a four-way fight with Perikatan Nasional's K. Jayaraman and S. Rajasakanan of the Penang Front Party also throwing their hats in the ring.
