First man charged under anti-stalking law ordered to undergo psychiatric observation

SHAH ALAM: A 37-year-old freelance designer, who became the first person to be charged under the new anti-stalking law, will undergo a month’s observation at the forensics psychiatric unit in Hospital Bahagia Ulu Kinta, Perak.

The court order came after Mohamad Safiq Rosli pleaded not guilty in the Magistrate’s Court here to a charge of stalking a female photographer.
