BUTTERWORTH: The political rift between former Bagan Dalam assemblyman M. Satees and K. Kumaran, his DAP rival for the seat, has left many locals in a quandary.

Satees has endeared himself to the population, having worked with former Perai MP and deputy chief minister II Dr P. Ramasamy in the area.
