REMBAU: Barisan Nasional deputy chairman Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan had a casual exchange with his Perikatan Nasional opponent for the Rantau state seat Rozmal Malakan on Tuesday (Aug 8) morning.

“Good luck to you,” Mohamad said, with Rozmal responding “Same to you” in return.
Both shook hands before Mohamad left the area.
Rozmal, whose late father served in the Armed Forces, said it was nostalgic for him to return to a military camp.
“It was nice to meet them again. The last time I entered a camp was in Rasah when I was in Form Five,” he said, adding that at the time his father was a (CO) commanding officer.
“On campaigning, we have to move into the sixth gear. We use all sorts of media and go all out, 200%,” he said.
Both candidates will face each other in a straight fight for the Rantau seat in the state elections here.
