Boy, 3, killed after being run over by truck in JB

JOHOR BARU: A three-year-old boy was killed after being run over by a truck while playing with a scooter in Eco Spring, Tebrau, here.

Johor Baru South OCPD Asst Comm Raub Selamat, when contacted, confirmed a police report was lodged on the incident, which occurred at 6.30pm on Friday (Aug 4).

“There will be no press release out of respect for the family,” he said on Monday (Aug 7), without elaborating.

It is learnt that the truck driver is a 32-year-old man.

A 22-second video clip, which was posted on Facebook, shows the incident, along with a few photos of the aftermath.
