Penang cops bust online scam syndicate, arrest three


GEORGE TOWN: Penang police have busted an online scam syndicate believed to have raked in up to RM100,000 a month and detained three local men.

Timur Laut police chief ACP Soffian Santong said the men, all aged 26, were picked up from two condominiums on Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah and Gurney Drive respectively here on Tuesday (Aug 1)
