Zahid tells Sanusi to repent for allegedly insulting Selangor Ruler

PUTRAJAYA: Kedah Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor should repent and not use all things under the sun as his campaign tool, says Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

The Barisan Nasional chairman said he should not misconstrue facts for personal interest or to attract a political crowd.

"Politics is not something one should joke about.

"I should not be commenting or debating with someone who is not wise in deducing what is fact and what is fiction," he told reporters on Thursday (July 13).

Sanusi, during a programme in Selangor recently had hit out at unity government leaders.

He was reported to have alleged that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim had made use of a decree by the Yang di-Pertuan Agong and took it upon himself to form the government.

Sanusi was also reported to have criticised the Sultan of Selangor for appointing Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari as his Mentri Besar.
