Johor cops nab five foreigners for stealing scrap metal from barge


PONTIAN: Police have arrested five foreign men for stealing scrap metal worth close to RM200,000 from a barge at Tanjung Piai, here.

Johor police chief Comm Datuk Kamarul Zaman Mamat said the arrest was made by the Marine Police Region 2 during the "Ops Taring Gelora" patrol in the area at 8.50pm on Saturday (July 1).
